Drone Technologies are a Queensland based Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) services company who have been advancing Queensland and Australia by driving employment in the innovative technologies sector since 2013. Specialities include film and advertisement, thermal and RGB asset inspections, mine mapping and volumetric surveys as well as security and surveillance. Our core focus is to ensure the improved safety and efficiency of our clients projects while ensuring that we constantly innovate to ensure our position as industry leaders in the innovative technologies sector. Drone Technologies have continued to adapt with evolving technology and in 2018 were the sole providers of drone security at the Commonwealth Games.

CASA Certified Australian UAS Operator

As a registered Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operator, (CASA.UOC.0696) Drone Technologies have demonstrated their commitment to meeting and upholding the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authorities stringent requirements for the safe operation of Unmanned Aerial Systems. All of our RPAS pilots hold current remotely piloted aircraft licences (RePL), are fully insured and bound by the Drone Technologies safe operating procedures.

Advance Queensland Innovation Partner

As of 2015 Drone Technologies are proud recipients of an Advance Queensland Knowledge Transfer Partnership grant. In collaboration with the Australian Research Centre for Aviation Automation, Drone Technologies aims to assist in developing Queensland into a global innovation hub. Our goal is to create jobs and drive expansion in local communities through innovation by investigating and conducting new and innovative applications utilising UAVs across multiple industry sectors.
